2005- 2015. It's never coming back.

Well, time never rolls back. But why this time period specifically ? Because this was the best ever time period of Football history. And I can give many reasons for it. .... And that's what we are gonna do !

1. Messi was at his peak.

2. Ronaldo was at his peak.

3. F.C. Barcelona was at it's peak.

4. Real Madrid were in a pretty good shape, although not absolutely on the peak.

5. Man United were, well, pretty dominant side.

6. Arsenal had their best time in the premier league.

7. Chelsea were a brilliant side.

8. Man City had their best time.

9. Iniesta, Xavi and Busquets were at the peak.

10. Sir Alex Fergusson was at the Man U helm.

11. Arsene Wenger was at the Emirates.

12. The Special One was at the Stamford Bridge.

13. Pep Guardiola was at Barcelona.

14. Mourinho and Carlo Ancelotti were at Real Madrid.

15. Zlatan Ibrahimovic was at his prime.

16. Sergio Aguero was at his prime.

17. Pique and Ramos were at his prime.

18. Toni Kroos was at his prime.

19. Luka Modric was at his prime.

20. Robben was at his prime.

21. Ribery was at his prime.

22. Suarez was at his prime.

23. Neymar (12-15) was at his prime.

24. Valdes was at his prime.

25. Casillas was at his prime.

26. Manuel Neuer was at his prime.

27. Gigi Buffon was at his prime.

28. Dani Alves was at his prime.

29. Marcelo was at his prime.

30. Jordi Alba was at his prime.

31. Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard were at their prime.

And you know what ? There are many more. The tickets were cheaper. The fans were much more involved. Many good things. If you think I am completely wrong, mention that in the comments.

Barca: A season to forget- Left Wing/ Midfielder

THE PLAYERS- I am not considering Coutinho and Griezmann Left Wingers. 1. Ansu Fati- An  astoundingly ridiculous revelation this season, Ansu Fati will surely be a major part any success we are * hoping * for. His speed and aggressiveness is always channeled and timed well. He can create something out of very little. This is the quality we were craving for, and we have got it in the form of Ansu.  2. Pedri- I know, he is not a first team member just yet, but that is not to say he won't recieve first time action. I think when Ansu needs rest, Pedri should get some starts against less physical sides like Villarreal. Conclusion- After two seasons after Neymar left, we finally have two very good wingers on both flanks. This is definitely good !

Barca: A season to forget- What needs to change ?

What needs to change, in order to win the champions league this August ? So, I can'y really talk about mentality because I am not aware of the happenings in the dressing room, so, let's talk about tactics. Formations and player roles.  TYPE 1- 4-1-2-1-2 narrow Goalkeeper- Ter Stegen two center backs- Pique and Lenglet/ Pique and Araujo Right back- Semedo Left back- Jordi Alba Holding Midfielder- Sergio Busquets Two Central Midfielders- Riqui Puig and Vidal/De Jong /Rakitic Attacking Midfielder- Messi Two strikers- Suarez and Griezmann/ Fati ( He can definitely play there)               This formation was used in the last five games of league and it was evident that it worked fine only when the opposition was not ultra defensive. Napoli, sadly, is ultra defensive. In this formation, the defence has usual work. In the midfield, Busquets has to stay deep and think attacking. He needs to put ball forward after intercepting passes or gettiing ball...

Barca-1 : RMA -3

Of Course it's the match review.  Look, we played well. If that calms you down, it should not. We need to win to show for it. No matter how many chances are created, until they are put away. Real Madrid were, by far the second best side today. But, they won. Maybe that's because of the VAR decision, but we need to understand that we should have been at least 3-1 up at that point. There's no excuse for that kind of finishing, in an El Clasico, the PREMIER FOOTBALLING SHOWCASE. At least it used to be. Now, there were some things more alarming, and some good ones, but as has been the case this season, finishing remains to be sharp. So, what are the even more negative things ? 1. Busquets. Yeah. I said it before, I will say it again, De Jong and Busquets can't play together. They do not complement each other. For details, click  here  . 2. The day Koeman was appointed, I had one, singular doubt about him. his passiveness. That is what we saw today. Yes, starting Pedri a...
