There were many reports regarding the future of some veterans yesterday, so let's look at them..
1. Suarez, Vidal and Rakitic informed they can go-
I am not very confident about this one. How will a new coach just tell three veterans to go away? However, it seems that it is true, because two or three reports suggested this. This could very well be truth.... Now, I am not against selling any one of these, but Suarez deserves some kind of farewell. He should depart with dignity. This is all fine and as we expected, veterans leaving the team. The most important thing is, we have not found a suitable replacement for Suarez.. Yes, Griezmann or Messi could play there, but they are very diiferent players. Only Koeman knows what's going on.
2. Manchester United want Ansu Fati for 156 million Euros-
This is ridiculous... Man United willing to pay 160 million for a 17 year old ? I do not trust this, but if this is true, I do not trust Bartomeu either. He is hungry for money and will do anything for it. Adding to my concern is the super agent Jorge Mendez. He has pretty good connections with Man United and that is not good. Ansu Fati has to stay. It's getting essential that Bartomeu leaves, because it is not often that we see a 17 year old attracting 150 million offers, and whenever that happens, we should DENY them. We are Barcelona...
3. Koeman is backing De Jong to become the future of Barcelona-
Finally a good thing, Koeman's admiration of De Jong has never been hidden, and it's only obvious that he considers him to be the future of the club. This may be a news for Busquets though, who is considered to be playing at the position De Jong is supposed to. There are two options, either offload Busquets and get on, which will be harsh. The other, more sensible option is that we can create a smooth transition between the two players, so that Busquets can guide and correct De Jong and move with dignity.
4. Arthur's farewell message-
Well, I do not know what to say on this, but I felt sad... his video was cinematic, and yet it touched me like nothing else... probably because I used to dream De Jong, Arthur and Puig. I do not think Bartomeu deserves to be in the Barca family for a single second, based on just this transfer, let alone Coutinho and Griezmann, Arturo Vidal, Martin Braithwaite, Prince Boateng, and a long list of incomings, with the outgoing of Arthur, Xavi Simons, Carles Perez, Carles Alena(loan), Cucurella, and the list goes on.
5. Jordi Alba-
Koeman has said (reportedly) that if Alba wants to stay, he needs to be the best version of himself. This is pretty straightforward, until we consider the 23 year old Spaniard Angelino linked to a move to Barcelona... Will Jordi move away, will Messi be left alone ?
That was a lot for one day... that's it..
