Eight

 We Ship Eight.

1.Things need to change, and fast.

        2. Setien needs to go.

        3. Busquets, Pique, Jordi Alba, Roberto, Suarez need to be options, not starters.

        4. I will be a little harsh today.

        5. We will talk what went wrong

        6. We will talk about how it should have been done

        7. We will talk about what needs to be done.

        8. Player Ratings and some random things.

1. That's fairly obvious, you don't go screaming after losing 8-2

2. Now, before this match, I thought he was at least tactically good, if not proactive. As soon as I knew the lineup he'd given, I knew he was utter shit. He tells his players to play out from the back with players like Vidal and Roberto in the midfield ? Not happening. I told we'll need pace, creativity and rigidity to beat Bayern, Barca come up with entirely opposite of that.

3. It was probably a very harsh reminder that Busquets, Pique and co. are too old to play with Barcelona at the highest level. And guess what, we have the players to replace them but we do not want this to happen. By we I mean Bartomeu. He want's Marquee signing. There was absolutely no use of Griezmann in the team, still he was bought for a hundred and twenty million Pounds. Riqui Puig and Demele did not come on the pitch, Ansu was brought a little too late. Even Setien thinks of  more expensive players as better players.

4. What I witnessed was not what I wanted. I hate to say this, but no player, Messi and Ter Stegen included, played good. No one. Bayern were so dominant that Barcelona played more than ninety percent of the possession in their own half. No pressing, no passing, ridiculously lethargic players and passes. Only if Bayern were more clinical, this eight would have been 12. Bayern players could stop at a position and it would be ages until a Barca player wil come to take the ball. Barca, on the other hand, played against their older-selves. Bayern were playing PERFECTLY. Just a little more in the midfield they would have scored 15. Setien thinks he knows what's gonna happen. No. He does not. He thinks he will get fired. He will get fired, his players will be booed all over Catalonia. His posters would have been burnt if not for lockdown. This is it for Barcelona. Barcelona should not be the club that is reluctant to play the youngsters. This is the same club that dumped prime Ronaldinho and Eto'o.

5. What went wrong... basically everything. Barca were stagnant. This was visible from the first minute to the last minute. A really average team that boasts about Messi. That was what Barcelona were. It's not meant to be so. Players need to step up. Players had no movement. No tackles, no tracking back, no creativity, no easing off pressure, nothing at all. And Setien, do not even start with him. Everything he did was wrong. Wrong lineup, wrong substitutions, wrong formation, he's going down isn't he ?

6. We talked about it, we needed to be quick with passing, press high and be fast on the counter.

7. We need to play youngsters, they have a hundred times more determination than these spoiled brats who have won everything there is to win. We need to believe in them and show our support. This ain't gonna happen unless there are serious changes in the club. Barca need to play players like Puig, Dembele,Araujo, and many more. We do not need Vidal or Suarez to boost us, we have many good players who are young and energetic.

8.

MATS- 4

Not a great game for him, gave away many balls and conceded eight goals.

Nelson Semedo- 5

After being one of the best players on the field in the Napoli game, he has fallen quickly. He needs to maintain his form to deliver.

Pique- 6

Pique was fairly good at most of the times, did not make mistakes, gave good balls to Jordi Alba and Semedo.

Lenglet- 5.5

Not exactly a good day, but he did not make many mistakes.

Jordi Alba- 6.5

A good match for Jordi Alba, did everything he could but could not do enough.

Busquets- 3.5

Not a pleasant sight is it ? Busquets receiving 3.5. To be honest, he deserves it. We expected him to make a show and guide the midfield, but none of that happened.

De Jong- 6

Was good overall, but he needs players making runs tocreate the difference, unfortunately, mighty Setien thought Suarez was Ussain Bolt.

Arturo Vidal- 5.5

Not a great day for him, but at least he was trying the whole match. He did not giveup or just become complacent. He fought till the end.

Roberto- 4.5

He was nowhere to be seen, no addition to the team. Davies walked past him everytime and he could not do anything.

Suarez- 7

The best player on the night for Barca, he pressed, he attacked, he scored and he motivated, but he can not carry the whole team.

Messi- 5.5

It was meant to end this way Leo, but you have to accept, you cannot guide this rubbish team to a Champion's league title. HE was good in the first half, but when you see your defense crumbling as it did, how will you cope ?

Now, I think Ronald Koeman has to come in. He has the respect of all Barca players and fans, he knows how to play football actively and how to manage a team. Koeman, if you truly loved Barcelona.....

My Top Ten: Total Fiction- Three

No. 3. Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn Series by Mark Twain          The great American novels. The novels, set in and 'round Mississippi river, and the state of course, for all but one novel, are a jewel to read. They are humorous, rich and enjoyable. Truly one of the greatest American novels.          Plot- A painstakingly simple plot for each novel, woven around a million subplots, adding humor and there you have it. But, it is not that easy. To find the right subplot, to find the best position to add humor, even to decide on jokes, is hard. It's not that easy to satisfy neysayers and these novels have done just that.          Characters- I wasn't born in the U.S.A. and I do not know how the kids there are. But, if their lif can be this adventurous, count me in ! Mark Twain creates a bond so tight that I must believe whatever he writes. Tom steals a hot air balloon, of course he can do that.    ...

Barca: A season to forget- Left Wing/ Midfielder

THE PLAYERS- I am not considering Coutinho and Griezmann Left Wingers. 1. Ansu Fati- An  astoundingly ridiculous revelation this season, Ansu Fati will surely be a major part any success we are * hoping * for. His speed and aggressiveness is always channeled and timed well. He can create something out of very little. This is the quality we were craving for, and we have got it in the form of Ansu.  2. Pedri- I know, he is not a first team member just yet, but that is not to say he won't recieve first time action. I think when Ansu needs rest, Pedri should get some starts against less physical sides like Villarreal. Conclusion- After two seasons after Neymar left, we finally have two very good wingers on both flanks. This is definitely good !

My Top Ten: Total Fiction- Four

No. 4. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.  Yeah, it is not in my top three. I am disappointed too, but I can assure you, I like this book very much, it is just that I like three books more. It is Paulo Coelho's best work by far and understandably. According to him, it is based on Wisdom. It is more about dreams and how to chase them. Plot- A boy has had a dream, there is a treasure below the pyramids in Egypt and he sets off to find it. Oh, how simple that seems and yet I have barely seen a novel more difficult to get the true essence. His journey is filled with extra-ordinary coincidences and incidents, making the journey adventurous and also giving a scope for some wisdom to be shared. A book like no other, This is the first book I'd recommend to instill a reading habit.  Characters- Santiago....Melchizedek....the alchemist....the shopkeeper.... all of these characters have a separate soul. A person we could identify, not one we could relate with the author in any way. This is a...
