Barcelona V/S Bayern Preview

 Barcelona are not used to being the underdogs, but they are.

So, First let's take a look at the lineup we already discussed. 

Lineup- Ter Stegen, Semedo, Pique, Lenglet, Alba, Busquets, Puig, Messi, Dembele, Suarez, Ansu Fati

In this matchup, more than ever, we require strong performances from every player on the field. We need good passing, dribbling, shooting, defending and above all, we need determination and confidence. This Bayern team has, in almost every position, equally good or better players than us. This is certainly not ideal. We need to change our style if needed. Yes, I would not like to see it either, but this is Champion's League. We need to win it. We do not have enough time to make our players so good at passing and keeping the ball that we outplay Bayern or Man City. So, we need to be defensively solid and wide players need to pull off a brilliant day. 

First Half

We could also play De Jong in place of Busquets to add that dynamism to the midfield. Messi and Puig need to add the verticality to produce some good chances and Demele and Fati need to run, not only for attacking, but also for fulfilling the defensive duties. A big match for us and so it is for them, so we can expect the Bavarians to make a singular or two mistakes, they do not make more than that. Setien should quickly change Griezmann for Suarez in the second half and maybe Vidal for Puig later on, to add some fresh, running legs onto the field. also, Messi could move furthur forward, Roberto could come for Ansu and the whole midfield would be fresh. This could be very handy, only if he decides to make changes before eighty minutes. He has to understand that substitution does not mean that you disrespect the player.

Let's Have some predictions now, shall we ?

Atalanta V/S PSG

Atalanta are a great, attacking side, this, in no way will be a goalless game, we are going to have a fest of goals. This is the match for neutrals. But, to many's sorrow, Atalanta are way too fragile at the back, and after seeing the PSG lineup and the bench, one can feel certain that they will swiftly outscore Atalanta, even without Mbappe. Neymar, Di Maria, Icardi, Cavani can handle pressure and they will go through. The score, although highly subject to change, will be- 4-2 in favor of PSG of Course. 

Atletico V/S RB Leipzig

Leipzig have a big disadvantage with Werner gone. They will create, but Oblak is too good for them, he was too good for Mane, so this should be easy for Atleti, final score to be 1-0

Man City V/S Lyon

This is probably the easiest tie in the quarters. Man City are going to win and by a large margin. It is going to be 5-1

Barcelona V/S Bayern 

Of Course Barca are going to win it. I am biased, yes. But this is my prediction. So, it is gonna be 2-2 at 90 minutes and Barca to score a third in extra time. THRILLER. Messi to score two goals and Dembele to grab the winner after a through ball from Messi following a counter Attack. Detailed Prediction.
