Assessing Bayern's most important players (And how to deal with them)

Bayern have such a great squad that picking four above others seems injustice.

Still, I will try. These are strictly according to me. Let's begin!

1. Joshua Kimmich- The best player in Bayern's team that will kick Barcelona is Kimmich, especially if Odriozola or Pavard return. While this seems unlikely, it can still happen and then, Barcelona won't have an easy route to semi finals. Joshua Kimmich is the best midfielder in the world right now. (according to me) He is almost a routine presence in Bayern's lineup, with minutes only less than Neuer. Now, he is a defensive midfielder when he does play in midfield, and his stats are incredible. He averages 1.5 tackles every 90 minutes, almost an interception every match, 76 passes with 90 % accuracy, 2.2 key passes and 0.6 dribbles. To go with this, he has 6 goals and 7 assists. These are outrageous numbers, and stats can't even justify what his presence brings to the team. Dynamism, Physicality and a certain organisation. He is constantly running around to receive and distribute passes, through balls, long balls and has a nice right foot for taking a few shots.

Observe Kimmich

In the video, we could see his involvement. After a big passing move, Kimmich and Muller create a good chance and Lewandowski or Gnabry or Coutinho finish it off. (Not every goal) After this, he also helps defensively and in distribution.
This player cannot be stopped, we need to stop the interaction, and that will be by man marking his teammates. It's evident that he is technically sound and won't loose the ball just by pressing. I do not know why, but he seems to be a combination of Busquets and Xavi.

2. Thomas Muller- We all know what Muller has done this season. He has been creative, proactive and attacking, with a bit of flair and technical prowess. He recorded 20 assists in the Bundesliga which is a record. We are talking about some seriously good assists, not just passes that turned into assists or far fetching crosses headed goalwards. He has been absolutely outstanding and Bayern will count on him to deliver.
To stop him, we must keep the ball away from him, and close down spaces. If we can do this and press high, we can stop him.

3. Robert Lewandowski - Hands Down best Striker in World football right now, Lewandowski is spitting goals this season. He has been good at finishing, decent at passing and controlling and also good at heading. What more do you need from a striker ? To do it consistently and that's where he becomes the best striker, if I am told to pick  a striker on the basis of their best form, I will choose someone like Lautaro Martinez, Suarez or Timo Werner, but if I  am asked to build a team to play the whole season, it will be Lewandowski.

To stop him, we need to stand tall and defend. We need to head the balls away and stop him from scoring (or create) Not any thing special we could do, but again, he too does nothing fancy, goes there and scores goal, game after game.

4. David Alaba- A rock solid center back, with a truly good distribution skills. Physical, technical, intelligent and composed. A true modern defender. He plays with a certain confidence that is seen only in the most elite defenders. The Austrian certainly makes the Bayern defense a solid one.
We need to stop him from him from stopping us, and that can be done by targetting the second central defender that will most probably be Boateng. Boateng has not been at his best this year and is probably the weakest link in Bayern.

My Top Ten: Total Fiction- Three

No. 3. Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn Series by Mark Twain          The great American novels. The novels, set in and 'round Mississippi river, and the state of course, for all but one novel, are a jewel to read. They are humorous, rich and enjoyable. Truly one of the greatest American novels.          Plot- A painstakingly simple plot for each novel, woven around a million subplots, adding humor and there you have it. But, it is not that easy. To find the right subplot, to find the best position to add humor, even to decide on jokes, is hard. It's not that easy to satisfy neysayers and these novels have done just that.          Characters- I wasn't born in the U.S.A. and I do not know how the kids there are. But, if their lif can be this adventurous, count me in ! Mark Twain creates a bond so tight that I must believe whatever he writes. Tom steals a hot air balloon, of course he can do that.    ...

Barca: A season to forget- Left Wing/ Midfielder

THE PLAYERS- I am not considering Coutinho and Griezmann Left Wingers. 1. Ansu Fati- An  astoundingly ridiculous revelation this season, Ansu Fati will surely be a major part any success we are * hoping * for. His speed and aggressiveness is always channeled and timed well. He can create something out of very little. This is the quality we were craving for, and we have got it in the form of Ansu.  2. Pedri- I know, he is not a first team member just yet, but that is not to say he won't recieve first time action. I think when Ansu needs rest, Pedri should get some starts against less physical sides like Villarreal. Conclusion- After two seasons after Neymar left, we finally have two very good wingers on both flanks. This is definitely good !

My Top Ten: Total Fiction- Four

No. 4. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.  Yeah, it is not in my top three. I am disappointed too, but I can assure you, I like this book very much, it is just that I like three books more. It is Paulo Coelho's best work by far and understandably. According to him, it is based on Wisdom. It is more about dreams and how to chase them. Plot- A boy has had a dream, there is a treasure below the pyramids in Egypt and he sets off to find it. Oh, how simple that seems and yet I have barely seen a novel more difficult to get the true essence. His journey is filled with extra-ordinary coincidences and incidents, making the journey adventurous and also giving a scope for some wisdom to be shared. A book like no other, This is the first book I'd recommend to instill a reading habit.  Characters- Santiago....Melchizedek....the alchemist....the shopkeeper.... all of these characters have a separate soul. A person we could identify, not one we could relate with the author in any way. This is a...
