#2 Which Age Group Dominates Football Today ?

There are loads of quality players out there, but only a bunch of them stand apart from the rest. This is inevitably due to their consistency. We will try to pick out the best age group out of these three- Below 24, 24-30 and above 30.

First of all, let's lineup our XI for the separate age groups.

For Today, 24- 30 -

Jan Oblak-

Hardest position to aappoint, but thankfully we had Jan Oblak, who is, according to me, a step above everybody else in terms of pure goalkeeping. He is also decent in possession, maybe not pinging straight on the foot of Felix every ten minutes, but decent enough to not give away chances.

Ricardo Perreira-

The leicester Right back has been a dominant force and deserves to be on this list. He is very good at defending, his 4.3 tackles a game speaks volumes about that, and is very fast too. He can cross well and has contributed 2 assists to his team.

Virgil Van Dijk-

I personally do not adore him, but when you watch him play, you have to respect that player. Tall and strong as a mountain, well built, dominant in the air, imperious in one on ones, precise on the ball. What more could you ask from a center back ?

Raphael Varane-

Varane is, even after that Man City game, one of the best defenders in the world. The reason his howlers surprised us is because we are not used to seeing those. Not in semi finals or finals, let alone Round of 16.

Andrew Robertson-

We are seriously lacking good left backs in the world right now. Except Andrew Robertson, we have none who are playing with the biggest club and are at the top of their game.

Joshua Kimmich-

A great, great player. Technically as good as one can be, while being aggressive and active in the game. A genius of the game. Wait a decade and come back here, he will be regarded as the best midfielder of the generation.

Kevin De Bryune-

The best attacking midfielder right now, De Bryune is the perfect example of a hard working player. He constantly tries make himself better and he has become pretty good in the process.

Luis Alberto-

Controversies.... watch Luis Alberto play and then enter. A beautiful player, all the flexibility a midfield position demands, all the creativity a midfielder can have, can show aggressive nature when required.

Paulo Dybala-

He's had a great season. Finally giving what he has. He can play out wide on the right, down the center, drop a little deeper or even a midfielder. A versatile and good at all positions player.

Timo Werner-

He had a great season until his drought but still finished with 28 league goals. A great output, while he also spearheaded Leipzig to the quarter finals. Next season will be very important for his career, as he makes his way to the very talented Chelsea side.

Neymar Junior-

He was phenomenal this season, always seemed a threat and was great at picking out passes. He may well win it all this season with PSG. He has looked hungry with PSG this season and I am the first to tell- he will guide PSG to the final and score there, while they will lose.

That's all for 24-30 Drop a comment if you disagree.

Barca: A season to forget- Left Wing/ Midfielder

THE PLAYERS- I am not considering Coutinho and Griezmann Left Wingers. 1. Ansu Fati- An  astoundingly ridiculous revelation this season, Ansu Fati will surely be a major part any success we are * hoping * for. His speed and aggressiveness is always channeled and timed well. He can create something out of very little. This is the quality we were craving for, and we have got it in the form of Ansu.  2. Pedri- I know, he is not a first team member just yet, but that is not to say he won't recieve first time action. I think when Ansu needs rest, Pedri should get some starts against less physical sides like Villarreal. Conclusion- After two seasons after Neymar left, we finally have two very good wingers on both flanks. This is definitely good !

Barca: A season to forget- What needs to change ?

What needs to change, in order to win the champions league this August ? So, I can'y really talk about mentality because I am not aware of the happenings in the dressing room, so, let's talk about tactics. Formations and player roles.  TYPE 1- 4-1-2-1-2 narrow Goalkeeper- Ter Stegen two center backs- Pique and Lenglet/ Pique and Araujo Right back- Semedo Left back- Jordi Alba Holding Midfielder- Sergio Busquets Two Central Midfielders- Riqui Puig and Vidal/De Jong /Rakitic Attacking Midfielder- Messi Two strikers- Suarez and Griezmann/ Fati ( He can definitely play there)               This formation was used in the last five games of league and it was evident that it worked fine only when the opposition was not ultra defensive. Napoli, sadly, is ultra defensive. In this formation, the defence has usual work. In the midfield, Busquets has to stay deep and think attacking. He needs to put ball forward after intercepting passes or gettiing ball...

Barca-1 : RMA -3

Of Course it's the match review.  Look, we played well. If that calms you down, it should not. We need to win to show for it. No matter how many chances are created, until they are put away. Real Madrid were, by far the second best side today. But, they won. Maybe that's because of the VAR decision, but we need to understand that we should have been at least 3-1 up at that point. There's no excuse for that kind of finishing, in an El Clasico, the PREMIER FOOTBALLING SHOWCASE. At least it used to be. Now, there were some things more alarming, and some good ones, but as has been the case this season, finishing remains to be sharp. So, what are the even more negative things ? 1. Busquets. Yeah. I said it before, I will say it again, De Jong and Busquets can't play together. They do not complement each other. For details, click  here  . 2. The day Koeman was appointed, I had one, singular doubt about him. his passiveness. That is what we saw today. Yes, starting Pedri a...
