No. 6. Alice's Adventures in the Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
This book is the epitome of children's literature. Every page carries that feel of inquisitiveness, curiosity and innocence. This book has a lot to offer, and not only to children, but to adults alike.
Plot- This plot revolves around a girl Alice who accidentally falls into a rabbit hole and enters a strange world ( ...spoiler). She undergoes various adventures there and ALL OF THEM ARE INTERESTING. Every spooky subplot with a spooky character makes you giggle and the bad characters make you angry. Beautifully portrayed.
characters- Alice is everything a child is. Honest, innocent, kind, a little selfish and proud. Every character is ideal for the plot and nothing seems to be out of place, even though everything is actually out of place.
Conclusion- No children's novel comes close to the ways of this novel. None. This is the grading point. Beautiful, filler with humor, intriguing.
